The consultation and briefing session between executives of the Guinean association and regional branches of the NGO and the founding president, Mr. Lansana Diawara, took place at the MAOG headquarters in Imbaya, in the town of Matoto.

A delegation of the Kankan Regional Chapter, led by the Regional Coordinator, Mr. Sékouba Traoré, took turns attending the meeting on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, to analyze new directions that could help improve the difficulties of MAOG.

In her statement, Ms. Aïssata Rougui Camara, Deputy National Coordinator, recalled that at this seminar, discussions will focus on creating a space for dialogue and consultation between the founding president and members of the country’s different sectors.

”. Discuss and define the strategic direction and priorities of the organization.
. Evaluate activities carried out and identify areas for improvement.
. Plan future actions in line with MAOG’s vision and mission.
. to share good practices and experiences among members,” she said.

The MAOG Founding Chairman expressed satisfaction with the commitment of the MAOG executives to give new impetus to this civil society organization.

“I thank you very sincerely for your presence and for your determination in this institution. Faced with everything that has happened, I have decided to take matters into my own hands so that together we can identify new dynamics to achieve our goals. This is not possible without good internal cohesion and an optimized operational strategy,” said Mr. Lansana Diawara, before informing the participants that he hopes each of them will achieve good results at the workshop, which will end on August 5.

It is noteworthy that this initiative by the Deputy National Coordinator of MAOG, Ms. Aïssata Rougui Camara, will allow MAOG executives to reflect on the difficulties faced by this civil society structure in achieving its goals.
