A coalition of civil society organizations in the region announced that it is concerned about divisions among political leaders in the Tigray region.
In a statement issued by a coalition of 124 Tigray civil society organizations, there are divisions among the region’s top political leaders, “which we fear could undermine peace in the region and its people,” he said.
Explaining the statement to VOA, Mr. Yared Berhe, Executive Officer of the civil society organization Cooperative, asked politicians to resolve their differences peacefully. He asked the federal government to deal with the issues arising from the misunderstanding of politicians in a peaceful and legal manner.
