Tamar Hamilton: Judge, 17th Circuit Court, Section 25, Broward County (nonpartisan)

Jamaican-American lawyer Tamar Hamilton is about to make history in the courts of Broward County. A committed advocate for justice, Hamilton’s career has been known for her passion for service and her unwavering belief in fairness. With a Juris Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, Hamilton now passes on her knowledge as an adjunct professor, having built a distinguished legal career.

As founder and lead attorney of her own law firm, she has demonstrated her expertise in property law, contract law, wills, trusts, and probate, successfully and skillfully handling large, complex cases. In addition to her legal practice, Hamilton’s academic contributions, including her work in health care, highlight her commitment to making the legal system accessible to all. Her ability to listen, her commitment to mentoring others, and her adherence to the highest ethical standards make her an ideal candidate for the Broward County bench. Dr. Gregory Toney: Broward County Sheriff (Democrat)

Dr. Gregory Toney has brought about dramatic change at the helm of the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. With 18 years in law enforcement, Toney has served on the front lines of public safety in key roles including SWAT, narcotics investigations, and street intelligence. Since being appointed Broward County Sheriff in 2019, Toney has led the charge to reduce crime rates, improve response times, and make Broward County a safer place to live. His academic accomplishments, including a doctorate in criminal justice with a concentration in organizational leadership, reflect his deep understanding of the complexities of modern law enforcement. Toney’s deep commitment to accountability is reflected in his decisive actions against misconduct in the Sheriff’s Office, including his firm stance against excessive use of force and officers who commit wrongful conduct.

Stanley Campbell: United States Senate (Democratic Party)
