All praises are due to Allah Almighty and may infinite peace and blessings be upon Allah’s most perfect and most perfect creation Sayyidunna Muhammad and his noble family members, our boat of salvation and his holy companions, our guiding lights.
In a recent speech (Who is Imam Hussein? Date: Saturday 15day In November 2014, I was quoting the Quranic verse (3:61) and mistakenly said the words “asheeratana wa asheeratakum” from the verse. These words are not part of the verse. I said these words out of confusion. May Allah Almighty forgive my mistake.
Secondly, I mentioned in my comment that the beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) took Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Al Siddiq (may Allah bless him) and his family and Ahlu Bait during the Najran incident. Tafsir Noor Irfan By Hakeemul Ummat Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Naeemi alayhirahmah, he said:
“Ibn al-Assakir mentioned a report that Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (narrator) received from Muhammad al-Baqir that Huzur (peace and blessings be upon him) went with these four (members of Ahlul Bayt) with three caliphs and their children (Roohul Ma’ani)” (Ref: Nurul Irfan, Urdu Bazaar, Lahore, p. 91, note 7 – also available in English)
Hakeemul Ummat alayhirahmah mentioned this view here without objection or comment – because he also Milat Shah Mishkat In a similar tone – so I think it’s a weak narrative that can be cited on the merits of the companion.
Later I saw Ruhul Maani And Allamah Aloosi Baghdadi alyhirahmah says: “This goes against the view of Jumhur.” Therefore, I note that according to Allamah Aloosi, the mufassirun (as the word Jumhur indicates) do not have a decisive ijma’ as to whether Ahlul Bayt exists “only” or not, and there is indeed a position, although it is contrary to the majority view of the mufassirun based on the narration of Ibn Asakir (Imam Suyuti also in his Tafsir Dul Mantoor).
Note that this view does not involve innovations in faith or doubt, since it concerns the realm of virtue (fadail), not doctrine (in contrast to the question of afdaliyyah – see Munir AinFatawa Razawiyyah, 5: 580). Does the explicit or implicit reference to the Caliphs in the story mean a denial of the existence or virtues of the Ahlul Bayt, or a denial of the pure narrative of the events concerning them—as some mistakenly assume?
The answer is of course no, because Tansis no taxi In our sect, see Ujoch Fasdia Usool a-Fiqh discussion. This will only bring more benefits to the Caliphate and will not belittle Ahlul Bayt. Therefore, I rely on Hakeemul Ummat Alyhirahmah Noor Irfan As my source for this incident, I later discovered that this was a non-standard account, as he himself stated in another of his articles Tafsir Nami Quoting the above statement of Allamah Aloosi.
May Allah Almighty forgive me and all of us, protect us from going astray, and enable us to do useful work – Amen.
