The company CIM METAL SA is constantly innovating in the technological field in order to offer its customers the quality materials they need to build infrastructure that meets international standards. For good reason, the company organized a seminar in Ouagadougou on Thursday, August 22, 2024, to present its new application called “CIM METAL SA”, which will allow it to control the quality of the concrete iron it produces. The presentation of this digital product was chaired by Ismaël Zebret, Secretary General of the Minister of Infrastructure, and Hamidou Ouattara, General Manager of the LNBTP Laboratory. Lassane Kanazoé, General Manager of Cim Métal SA, was also present.

The “CIM METAL SA” application is now available on the Play Store for Android and the App store for iPhone. In fact, the application was developed by CIM METAL Limited, whose general manager, Lassane Kanazoé, and marketing and communication director, Djelika Ouédraogo, said that the application allows customers to control the quality of CIM METAL SA products. In various statements, they said that the application is currently available in Burkina Faso, Benin and Senegal, and will soon be launched in Ghana.

Its advantage, they say, is that it is an application standardized to the country where you live and where the research originates.

Furthermore, Ismaël Zebret, Secretary General of the Ministry of Infrastructure, who officially opened this seminar, said that CIM METAL SA stands out for its commitment to complying with the most stringent standards, both in terms of the tensile strength, ductility and weldability of its concrete iron. These characteristics, he believes, are essential to ensure the longevity and safety of structures, especially as quality requirements continue to grow. “The objective of this seminar is therefore twofold: on the one hand, it is a question of deepening your technical knowledge of the properties and advantages of locally produced steel reinforcement and, on the other hand, of showing you how this material can effectively meet quality and sustainability requirements while remaining economically competitive,” he explained.

Hamidou Ouattara, General Manager of LNBTP, said that this seminar, initiated for engineers from design offices, public and private buildings, is a unique platform that allows them to explore new perspectives and share expertise and, above all, to co-create innovative solutions that meet the requirements of our sector. “It offers our engineers an excellent opportunity to enhance their skills, familiarize themselves with new technologies and draw inspiration from the best practices in civil engineering,” stressed the director.
