A 58-year-old Fiji Methodist Church pastor from Ba Island, who was charged with accepting financial advantage, will reappear in the Suva Magistrate’s Court on September 4 for trial.
Kolinio Bulivakarua appeared before Suva magistrate Yogesh Prasad yesterday for allegedly illegally withdrawing $7,683.68 from the account of mataqali Walakewa TLTB Trust.
The incident took place between January 1 and May 31 four years ago when he was serving as the Superintendent of Police for Bukuya Division in Ba Municipality, Buliwa Karua County.
His bail has been extended.
