According to foreign media reports, the Hong Kong South China Morning Post (SCMP) quoted the corporate database platform Qichacha on the 6th as saying that the number of artificial intelligence companies established in China in the first half of this year reached 237,000.


Among them, after the State Council issued the “Next Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan” in 2017, the number of artificial intelligence companies in my country reached 1.48 million, accounting for nearly 90% of the total number of artificial intelligence companies in the country. In addition, the number of newly registered artificial intelligence-related companies last year was 467,000. This is after OpenAI, which Microsoft invested heavily in, launched ChatGPT on November 30, 2022. Among them, Baichuan, Jifu AI, Moonshot AI, and Minimax are collectively known as the “Four AI Tigers”.

Meanwhile, Premier Li Qiang announced the “AI+ Action” at the two sessions earlier this year, which aims to promote efficiency and economic growth by integrating technology with traditional industries.
