China Media Group (CMG), the Esports World Cup Foundation and tournament organizer VSPO have signed a strategic partnership.
China Media Group announced the establishment of the National Esports Development Institute in Beijing, and recently signed agreements with two companies to jointly host and participate in future esports events.
The college will help China’s e-sports industry layout, strengthen industry cooperation, carry out more overseas exchanges, and explore new ways to promote cultural communication.
VSPO Chairman Ying Zhiqiang said: “We are very honored to become a strategic partner of China Media Group and the Esports World Cup Foundation to jointly establish the China Media Group National Esports Development Academy. This is also another important sign of Beijing’s support for the development of esports.”
