Chinese automaker Chery has launched an updated version of its Comfortline crossover in the domestic market.
The cost starts from 160,000 yuan (about 2 million rubles at the current exchange rate). The appearance of the car remains unchanged after the update. Only two new configurations appeared – the self-travel version and the free travel version. The basic version is equipped with tire pressure sensors, rear parking sensors and cruise control. The free travel version adds side curtain airbags, forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition and other functions.
The Chery eQ7 is the company’s first vehicle built on an innovative aluminum platform. The crossover measures 4,675 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,830 mm. The new model is available in five colors: green, blue, black, white and gray. Standard equipment includes a heated steering wheel, driver fatigue monitoring and remote engine start.
The car is available in two versions. The first is equipped with an electric motor that produces 211 horsepower and has a range of up to 512 kilometers. The second version is equipped with an electric motor that produces 183 horsepower. When fully charged, the range is up to 412 kilometers.
