The Central African Parliamentary Autonomous Union (SYNAPARC) submitted a strike notice to the National Assembly office on July 24. The parliamentary workers are dissatisfied and demand that the government pay two months’ salary. This was decided during the extraordinary general meeting held last Monday in the semi-circle of the National Assembly in Bangui. The National Assembly office has not yet made an official response.
