St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN) — Our newsroom has received information that on the night of June 21, 2024, a Cayon gas station was robbed by two assailants wearing masks, women’s clothing and armed with guns, who robbed the gas station of a sum of money.
As of the time of reporting, police had not provided information about the robbery. There was no indication that the firearm was unloaded, nor were there any signs that the staff or customers at the Kayon gas station were injured.
There has been a spate of robberies in St Kitts over the past two months, with seven reported to police, most of which took place at minimarts/supermarkets.
The Kayon gas station robbery was the second in two months. Four men have now been charged in connection with four robberies.
