The councillors also suggested working with technical staff to plan activities
The Commune of Canillo hosted today the twentieth Children’s Council. About 80 students aged 11 to 12 from Andorran and French schools participated and presented a public awareness project against food waste. An initiative proposed during the course was shared with the Coma Casa sponsors. So, the elders of the parish explained to them the different ways of using food. To publicize this initiative, the children proposed to hang information posters in different places of the parish and publish them on the website of Comú de Canillo. Alcobe gave a very positive assessment of the initiative and shared the Horts para Tothom project that the commune will promote to guarantee local production and promote a more responsible and sustainable consumption.
Another suggestion was to build a pump track, a project the company already had planned. The kids came up with ideas such as where it could be located, on the site of a campground, next to a river, next to a skate park and more.
The last requirement is to be able to prepare the activities and events of the Esplai summer program together with the technical staff of the commune.
