In his speech during the traditional flag-raising ceremony held in his institution on Monday, July 1, 2024, Prime Minister Dr. Apollinaire Kélem de Tambela called on his “comrade” collaborators and all Burkinabés not to be afraid and to remain vigilant, before assuring President Ibrahim Traoré that Burkina Faso is in good hands.

At 7:30 a.m., Prime Minister Dr. Apollinaire Kyélem De Tambèla took his place in the space reserved for the ceremony, with his collaborators already in place. The military regime was established, the national anthem was played and the flag was raised, then it was time for the Prime Minister to speak. Surrounded by his closest collaborators, dressed in Faso Dan Fani, glasses firmly fixed, shopkeepers relaxedly greeted him with the revolutionary name “comrade”.

He then said: “The message I want to convey to you today is simple: do not be afraid. The current authorities in the country are committed to preserving Burkina Faso’s sovereignty and putting the country on a development path. This will inevitably lead to heartbreak and upheaval.”

Dr. Apollinaire Kérémé de Tambéla said that in fact many people are happy with Burkina Faso’s state of dependency because they take advantage of the secondary benefits that come with it. Therefore, the reconstruction and sovereignty policies currently being pursued call into question the interests of the local lackeys on whom Western imperialism relies to keep countries dependent.

“The reconstruction and development of Burkina Faso call into question the interests of those who imitated them in behavior and BroadCast Unitedlect. They also call into question the interests of certain economic operators who rely on this imitation to sell consumer goods and play the role of simple appendages of capitalism and Western imperialism. They further call into question the interests of the so-called academics who maliciously use pseudo-progressive language to attract the attention of the population and better mislead them. There is also a lot of discontent with the strict management of state assets and the fight against corruption. All these people are currently opposing the current restructuring system, whose only crime is to question what they consider to be permanent achievements for their own benefit. Therefore, their goal is to overthrow the regime by all means, including the most unethical, with the support of Western masters and sub-leaders of sub-regional Africa. In addition to Burkina Faso, we basically find these people in France, the United States and, closer to us, in Côte d’Ivoire. But I tell you: do not be afraid. What you may not know is that most of them have been in vain serving the current authorities from the first hours of this regime. Having known their duplicity, no follow-up actions were carried out against them. Some waited in vain to be approached. Therefore, it is out of spite, out of a spirit of revenge and to satisfy their base ambitions that they are throwing all their forces against the regime. They have no plan to propose except to throw Burkina Faso back into the chains of slavery and once again collaborate with terrorists in complete freedom, at the cost of the blood of the Burkinabé people,” the Prime Minister declared, further assuring that “the team of unearned power holders will once again abandon the country to the hands of political entrepreneurs, opportunists and adventurers”.

“To live a hundred years as a coward is to be non-existent”

The head of government also assured that the leaders are aware of the enemies of the people, those who are ready to mortgage the country if necessary for their unbridled ambitions. “Those who think only of themselves, who have no tears of sympathy for the millions of poor Burkinabe people in cities and villages. Those who are ready to set Burkina Faso on fire just to heat up their coffee. Supporters of the current regime fear that the enemies of the people can unleash their poison at will. Fear not! Because their agitation is in vain and has no impact on the progress of the people. Fear not! Because now, it is the people themselves who are leading their struggle for reconstruction, sovereignty and development. Burkina Faso is not alone in this struggle. It is led in collaboration with the countries of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES). This is new under the African sky. People often tell you to be careful about yourself and not to get involved too much because the regime can fall at any time. Fear not! Because the people’s regime with the support of the AES people will not fall. Commit to giving meaning to your life, making it useful and non-vegetative. To live a hundred years on the side of cowards is to live without a sense of existence. Fear not! Fear of life leads to deadness. Now, under the leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso is well governed.

Dr. Apollinaire Kélem de Tambela invites his Burkinabe colleagues to remain vigilant during the political turmoil the country is going through. “If it is true that the ordinary people in the countryside and in the towns: the peasants, the breeders, the participants in the informal sector, the artisans and the small traders are beginning to acquire a political conscience, it is also true that those who have always dominated and exploited him have not yet let go. They do not accept the intrusion of the small people whom they despise into the political arena. So they have never stopped using intrigues and tricks to make the ordinary people suspicious, stragglers. That is why we must be vigilant and prevent the subtle traps set by those who are not ready to make any sacrifices for the liberation of their brothers. One of the best strategies is to make a bombastic claim to be revolutionary, progressive or left-wing, to use the so-called pro-worker language, to pretend to be the defenders of workers and purchasing power. Make no mistake. For them, an employee is someone who staggers around in a ventilated or air-conditioned office. That is, these few thousand employees, especially those from the cities, mainly from Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso. Too bad for them, it is for the millions of peasants, breeders, artisans and small traders, whose fate does not matter to them. They are fighting for further increases in wages, allowances and personal benefits. Whether millions of other Burkinabés die or not is not their concern. This is the reality of those who disguise themselves as progressives or workers’ defenders in order to better deceive the people. Some of them refuse even to make a symbolic contribution of just 1% of their salary to participate in the defense of their endangered homeland. This is more than instructive, “declared the head of government, reiterating his call for vigilance.
