BSE posts strong first half 2024 results

The Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) has shown strong growth in the first half of 2024, with the main index appreciating significantly compared to the same period in 2023. The Domestic Companies Index (DCI) rose 5.0% from January 1 to June 30, 2024, outperforming the 4.3% gain in the same period last year. Meanwhile, the Domestic Companies Total Return Index (DCTRI) surged 10.6%, compared to a 9.4% gain in the first half of 2023.
