Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that Ukrainian troops could use British weapons on Russian territory. A spokesman for the British Ministry of Defense said Ukraine “has the right to defend itself against aggressive Russian attacks, which does not exclude operations on Russian territory.”
Former Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has previously said that all of the UK-supplied weapons, with the exception of the long-range Storm Shadow missile, could be used in Russia.
This means that Ukrainian troops can use British anti-tank missiles, artillery, armored vehicles and other weapons on Russian territory. The ministry added that the Storm Shadow missiles may not be used outside Ukraine.
