Brisbane Times welcomes two new trainee journalists

After a series of interviews, writing and current affairs tests, and workshops, students were finally selected based on their merits.

Catherine Strohfeldt has lived in Brisbane since 2019, having previously lived on the Sunshine Coast. brisbane timesshe studied at the University of Queensland and worked at 4ZZZ radio station.

“If my experience living in Brisbane has taught me anything, it’s that we are a vibrant and diverse city. And we have quite a bit of charm,” Strohfeldt said.

“I’m eager to work with such a talented group of journalists to cover how Brisbane changes and develops over the coming years.”
