Brazil and the United States tied in a closed-door match

Miami. On Wednesday, June 12, Brazil and the United States drew 1-1 in Orlando (Florida), the last exciting test before the America’s Cup, which will be held in the North American country next week.

Brazilian Rodrigo opened the scoring in the 17th minute and Christian Pulisic equalized with a free kick in the 26th minute in front of a nearly packed crowd of 60,016 fans at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Vinicius Junior, who played the entire game, and youngster Enderrick had great chances in the closing stages to define a game that was dominated by goalkeepers Alisson and Matt Turner.

For the Americans, who broke an 11-game losing streak against Brazil, the draw came as a relief after Saturday’s 5-1 defeat to Colombia.

The Americans, reeling from their humiliation by Colombia, came out with more intensity on the grass and fired several dangerous shots towards the Brazilian goal.

Yunus Musah, one of two new players in the starting eleven, hit the crossbar with a missile from outside the box with five minutes remaining.

After Pulisic had another chance, Brazil took control of the game and enjoyed the best moment of the match.

The combination of the “Canarinha” attacking trident began to wreak havoc on the local defense, causing serious trouble for Turner, who successfully resolved a one-on-one with Vinicius Jr. in the 17th minute.

Four minutes later, his Real Madrid partner Rodrigo took advantage of Turner’s own mistake and made no mistake. The goalkeeper failed to pass the ball, and Rafinha allowed Rodrigo to adjust the ball to his left leg and complete the cross.

With this advantage, Brazil took its foot off the gas, allowing the U.S. to better occupy the midfield.

After a brilliant tackle that saw Pulisic caught on camera on the edge of the box, the AC Milan forward took charge of the shot himself and fired a low shot into the near post, surprising Alisson.

After the break, Dorival Junior brought Enderique on and he was in the box within a minute but his cross was blocked by Turner.

Both sides had chances in the closing stages but Alisson was outstanding against Pulisic and Brendon Aaronson, while Turner was also outstanding against Rodrygo and Vinicius.
