Bozovic: Urgently arrange a meeting of the Census Monitoring Committee

Bogdan Bozovic, a member of the Socialist People’s Party (SNP), said a meeting of the census monitoring committee should be arranged urgently.

“The Socialist People’s Party of Montenegro is deeply concerned about the delay in publishing the results of the population, household and apartment census. The census is crucial for the future development of our country, as it is a fundamental tool for responsible and transparent policymaking in all spheres of social life,” Bozovic said.

He said it was incomprehensible that a process “so important to the country and its citizens” faced such obstacles.

“The delay in publishing the census results sends a bad message about the institutions’ ability to carry out such an important process in a timely and efficient manner. Not only is the result of ethnic and cultural issues at stake, but it is in the interest of all citizens to have accurate information, thereby promoting the further economic, social and political development of our country”, concluded the Scottish National Party representative at the Black Mountain Parliament.

I invite the co-chairs of the Parliamentary Census Monitoring Committee to arrange a meeting of that body as soon as possible and invite the representatives of Monstatt to provide the public with the answers that concern all of us.
