A three-year-old boy fell into a swimming pool and drowned.
Police said the incident took place at around 4:15 pm at a residence in Triq il-Kortoll, Xagħra.
The police arrived at the scene before the medical team, provided first aid to him and rushed him to the hospital.
The boy was confirmed dead shortly afterwards.
An investigation has been launched as the police investigation is still ongoing.
