EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Josep Borrell said today in a conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleb regarding Ukraine’s attack on Russia’s Kursk region that Russian President Vladimir Putin has failed to break Ukrainian resistance and he is now forced to withdraw into Russian territory.
“I reiterate the EU’s full support for the struggle of the Ukrainian people,” Borrell wrote on the X platform.
Ukraine controls 74 settlements in Russia’s Kursk region, according to Alexander Sersky, commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to Unian , Sersky informed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of the incident today.
After receiving Serski’s report, Zelensky said that despite the complex and fierce fighting, the Ukrainian army continued to advance in the Kursk region.
