Hurry, hurry, hurry, I have to hurry… In four weeks, St. Martin will be over! Well, while there is still a little time, I will write a few pages for you before the big departure!

I just wanted to show you our boat trip: a short trip, just the 4 of us, and our two little kids, and we were making the most of it!

And we weren’t the only ones who were engrossed, there were also the two little sailors!

Our captain today:

Goodbye St. Martin, today we are going to explore the surrounding areas of Anguilla

DSC09805

Well, Anguilla doesn’t look very good in photos because it is a very flat island. You’ll notice that we have a lake instead of a sea!

DSC09808

So that “Cap’tain Loïc” could speed up! Lena persisted!

DSC09818

But the best thing is in the front, your hair is flying in the wind!

DSC09810

Zoé also found the right spot!

DSC09819

We were getting closer…the color of the water was incredible…

DSC09816

First, we stopped at Rendez-Vous Bay Beach, which was a little corner of paradise!

DSC09822

But before you go there you have to jump off the boat!

DSC09824

Just like that, everyone was in the water!

DSC09825

This is a beautiful beach just to the left…

DSC09826

To the right……

DSC09827

in front…..

DSC09821

what else…….

DSC09831

This short stop was very enjoyable but we had to get back to the boat and our day wasn’t over yet!

DSC09832

We passed the other side of Anguilla and circled its islets: Dog Island, Cactus Island, and Sandy Island.

DSC09850

The sea was really nice…no waves, it was a perfect day for boating.

DSC09852

This is Dog Island, a small desert island with only one beach, which is Big Bay.

DSC09862

It’s still a little paradise!

DSC09863

No, this is not a photo of the pool, this is the colour of the sea!!!!

DSC09866

We continue our journey…

DSC09872

…and our two posters!

DSC09841

Look at the cactus fruit:

DSC09885

These islands are not easy to photograph as they are very flat!

DSC09879

The most surprising thing is Sandy Island:

DSC09900

It’s just a sandbar in the middle of the Caribbean Sea with a few palm trees and a restaurant!

DSC09902

We are not eating there today, we are planning a picnic on the boat!

DSC09906

A little digestive swim afterwards…

DSC09893

…Toes are like fans! What a blessing!

DSC09894

We continue our tour of the surrounding areas of Anguilla…

DSC09908

We stopped at Croccus Bay, a small beach:

DSC09914

It was a very beautiful dive site and Léna and her dad didn’t hesitate to go see the beautiful fish!

DSC09920

DSC09921

I stayed on the boat and admired the ballet of the pelicans, the wonderful fishermen.

DSC09929

Zoe couldn’t believe it!

DSC09851

That’s it for Anguilla! We hit the road again (well, if we can say that!!!) heading to Tintamar…

DSC09931

….a wild and uninhabited island.

DSC09939

St. Martin as seen from Tintamar:

DSC09943

Zoe finally found her bucket and shovel, it’s time!!!

DSC09945

DSC09949

DSC09952

The sun is about to set, it’s time to swim back to the boat!

DSC09953

The most important thing is to go to sleep! ! ! ! But your mind is full of memories and your eyes are full of wonderful colors!
