A heartbreaking incident took place in Varamin in 2019, where a young man named Hamid killed his uncle and nephew after an argument over drinking. The country’s Supreme Court also confirmed his punishment and the murderer is about to serve his sentence.
An uncle and a nephew were reportedly seriously injured in a bloody brawl at a friendly gathering due to drinking. Unfortunately, both died from their injuries.
The police soon uncovered the gruesome crime by launching an investigation and arresting the accused. In his confession, Hamid admitted to killing the two and stated that his motive was a conflict over drinking.
After completing the investigation and issuing the indictment, the double murder case was transferred to the Tehran Provincial Criminal Court. After reviewing all aspects of the case, the court issued a retribution verdict against the defendants, which was eventually confirmed by the Supreme Court.
