Cindy Clark has been appointed Bermuda’s Attorney General, the third person to hold the position since early August. Clark, currently serving as Attorney General, has been appointed as Interim Attorney General.
The appointment comes as Kim Wilson resigns as Attorney General and Minister for Legal Affairs.
She will now focus on her role as health minister, returning to the sole responsibility she held before her brief stint as attorney general.
These latest developments come after a period of significant change at the Attorney General’s Office.

Wilson subsequently accepted the position on August 7.
Now, with Clark’s appointment on August 29, Bermuda has its third Attorney General in a month.
The appointment of a public official as Attorney General necessitates further changes in the Cabinet structure.
Departments and responsibilities that were previously part of the Ministry of Legal Affairs have been temporarily reassigned. They will now be overseen by Deputy Prime Minister Walter Roban until a more permanent arrangement is in place.
Other changes to the Cabinet include new responsibilities for Transport Minister Wayne Furbert.
He will be in charge of the Cabinet Office, but this was also described as a pending arrangement, suggesting further changes could come.
The government also handed oversight responsibilities for consumer affairs and land permitting to Economy and Labor Minister Jason Hayward.
