Belarus intends to develop a strategy and integrated program for the development of unmanned systems to scale up production, the press service of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) reported after the launch meeting of the temporary interagency working group.
“The created working group will have to study in detail the issues of organizing and expanding the production of drones and ground transport and their components, analyze existing research and development progress, and identify areas for improving the regulatory framework,” the message said.
In addition, the curriculum for training specialists in the field of design, construction and management of unmanned systems will be updated. The group includes representatives of government agencies, scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, manufacturing companies and users of unmanned systems.
