On July 23, Lukashenko signed a decree to eliminate the consequences of dangerous meteorological phenomena, the Lukashenko news agency reported.
In particular, the Department of Energy is tasked with ensuring that:
By August 1, 2024, all households without electricity will be connected to electricity;
By August 22, 2024, the temporary power supply plan will be switched from diesel generators to power lines;
Until December 31, 2024, analyze the grid situation and prepare recommendations to improve the reliability of electricity supply to responsible consumers and densely populated areas.
The Ministry of Forestry, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and other departments were instructed to do a good job in clearing the trees fallen by the hurricane and organizing the removal of wood.
In addition, the regional executive committees were instructed to organize citizens to participate in clearing the debris in the relevant areas and ensure the restoration of damaged buildings and structures.
The implementation of the order is the responsibility of the National Supervisory Commission.
