BBC and ITV to share Euro 2025 coverage
The BBC and ITV will jointly broadcast Euro 2025, continuing their partnership from Euro 2024. It will be the first free-to-air tournament since the UK government designated the women’s football championship as a “crown jewel” event.
Interest in women’s football has increased significantly following England’s historic win at Euro 2022, which attracted 17 million viewers. The BBC previously held exclusive rights to Euro 2022, while ITV has joined the 2023 World Cup. Both networks will broadcast the games on July 27 with coverage of the entire tournament on television and streaming services.
