JAKARTA (ANTARA) – The National Relief Agency (Baznas) has launched a mobile clinic service to provide medical assistance to Palestinian refugees in Jordan.

The service was established in partnership with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and the Palestinian Medical Aid Organization (MAP).

“The Baznas Medical Center and JHCO are working with the Palestinian Medical Aid Organization to provide doctors, nurses and medicines to mobile clinics that are currently serving approximately 4,000 refugees,” Noor Achmad, chairman of the Baznas Medical Center, said in a statement on Wednesday.

The mobile clinic is designed for refugee camps, especially those with limited medical resources. In addition to Palestinian refugees, the clinic can also serve refugees from Syria and Sudan.

“This mobile clinic will provide faster and more convenient health care to refugees. Baznas is committed to providing the best possible help to those in need,” Ahmad added.

He expressed hope that the mobile clinics would alleviate the suffering of Palestinians and other refugees affected by the war.

“This is a reflection of our humanitarian commitment and a concrete effort to ease the burden on people affected by conflict and crisis,” said President Baznas.

Achmad further expressed his hope to strengthen the cooperation between Baznas and JHCO to provide comprehensive support and assistance to refugees through future projects.
