Through the following statement received by our editorial staff, the Pan-African Salvation Party (PPS) expresses its solidarity to the entire Burkina Faso nation, in particular the sons and daughters of Balsargo, as well as the families of the Defense and Security Forces) and the VDP (Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland) who fell on the field of honor. The PPS expresses its gratitude to the authorities for all the diligent actions taken since this unfortunate event, while inviting all the Burkinabe population to renew their solidarity with the victims.
Balsargo attack: PPS sends sympathy
Burkina Faso has once again fallen victim to cowardly, sordid and brutal attacks, one too many times. In fact, on August 24, 2024, the evil forces shamefully targeted innocent people in Sanmatenga Balsargo, cowardly killing several of them and seriously injuring many more.
On behalf of the National Executive Office, the Pan-African Salvation Party (PPS) and all my own activists, I express the party’s sympathy to the entire Burkinabe nation and the sons and daughters of Burkina Faso in these difficult times. Barsalgo suffered martyrdom and pays tribute to the families of the FDS and VDP who fell on the field of honor. I extend the deepest condolences of all the party’s activists to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
The party expressed its gratitude to the authorities for all the diligent actions taken since this unfortunate event. He thanked all the goodwill that has brought relief and comfort to the people and families affected and invited all Burkina Faso people to reunite in solidarity with the victims of Balsargo and all victims of terrorist attacks.
The PP firmly condemns this despicable act that deserves another era and expresses its solidarity with the transitional government in its tireless efforts to reconquer the territory and restore peace to our country. The party reiterates its encouragement to the Defence and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defence of the Fatherland (VDP), who risk their lives to protect Burkina Faso.
We recall once again that in these critical moments in the life of our nation, no initiative should be neglected and no effort should be spared to restore peace. Finally, we recall the need to guarantee the conditions of the sacred union of sons and daughters in order to effectively defend the nation from existential threats.
