This summer, instead of mashing your avocado on toast, you may be more likely to toast it. Pinterest Summer 2024 Trend ReportAmong them, the most popular are avocado bread (+360%), avocado desserts (+180%) and avocado milkshakes (+130%).

Gen Z, the fastest-growing group on Pinterest, is shaping this summer’s trends with bold and playful interpretations of staples like mango, avocado and sourdough, said Sydney Stanback, the company’s global head of trends and insights.

“Avocado toast has always been a staple for certain generations, like millennials. So now it’s just a new take on something that a lot of people clearly enjoy.”
