Avineshwur Dayal, a lawyer by profession and son of late Raj Dayal, was introduced as the Morisien Alliance candidate this evening at MSM General Secretary Maneesh Gobin speaking at the MKS Hall in Caroline during the zonal committee meeting.
Manish Gobin said “He is the candidate of the Morrison Coalition. The Prime Minister consulted all leaders of other government parties before making this decision. A meeting will be held at the New Belleair Marketplace tomorrow at 10:30am and all supporters will walk to Belleair State High School to complete their application. A rally will then be organised in the area. »
Joe Lesjongard added “As the responsible party, we have already nominated a candidate for the section. We will unite and achieve victory together”.
These include Joe Lesjongard, Maneesh Gobin, Sunil Bholah, Sudheer Maudhoo, Deepak Balgobin, Ismael Rawoo, Ravi Yerrigadoo and Zahid Nazurally.
Zahid Nazurally stressed that the government had implemented 150 projects in the past four years and called on believers to support new candidates in some elections.
Fisheries Minister Sudheer Maudhoo criticised former Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam, claiming “Number 10 residents played the lion “manz lerb” in the last legislative election”.
