ST. KITTS AND NEVIS (WINN) – An autopsy confirmed that 28-year-old New Road Housing resident Shaquan Bridgewater died from severe abdominal trauma caused by a traffic accident.
An autopsy was performed on August 7, 2024 by resident pathologist Dr. Nadica Phillip, who determined the cause of death to be hypovolemic shock due to severe chest and abdominal trauma.
The areas affected by this type of trauma include parts of the abdominal and thoracic cavities, especially the upper part of the abdomen.
The injuries were sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
The investigation into the specific circumstances of the accident is still ongoing.
