Stellantis said in a statement that Ram 1500 Classic production at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant will end at the end of the year with the launch of the new Ram 1500.
As a result, the plant will reportedly switch from a two-shift to a single-shift operating mode, while other operations within the plant will continue to run on a two-shift basis to support Jeep Wagoneer production.
The Warren Truck Assembly Plant is expected to begin laying off workers in October as production of the Ram 1500 Classic pickup ends.
