On Wednesday, 7th, a public call was published in the supplement of the Porto Alegre Official Gazette (Dopa) for the accreditation of a new shelter for cats and dogs rescued from the May floods, with proposals received until 6 pm, August 23. Entities interested in providing services must send the required documents by email to licitacoes@portoalegre.rs.gov.br.
The aim is to invite interested parties to provide services to take care of approximately 500 dogs and cats. The administrative procedures were developed following a dialogue with veterinary experts from the temporary shelter and the Public Service of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (MPRS).
