Libreville, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – In 2012, the Société Nationale Immobilière’s (SNI) 3,808 affordable housing construction program highlighted the need for the company to have a construction organization to directly manage all projects.
The structure, which has already been implemented for a week, marks a decisive turning point in construction management in Gabon and is the ideal solution to fill the shortcomings pointed out in the past.
The recent creation of a Building Authority within the National Real Estate Corporation is a saving step, as it is part of the vision of the highest authorities in the country, led by the Head of State, General Brice Clotaire Origi Nguema, who advocates “decent housing for all”. This involves strengthening the capacity of sustainable infrastructure to meet the growing demand for housing.
SNI incorporated a construction management system into its action plan, which would enable significant improvements in project efficiency and meeting delivery deadlines on the construction site.
