“I was able to look at it with a sense of distance and perspective and be like, ‘This is hilarious.’ People call me a cannibal, and everybody believes them. They’ll be like, ‘Yeah, that guy eats people.’ They’re like — what? Like, what are you talking about?”
Hammer has consistently denied all allegations of rape and physical abuse. I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t know how people are going to react to it, but those are things I can’t control. I can’t do anything, essentially, about how people are going to react to it. But I can do what I’m passionate about. Just because they tell me I can’t do it doesn’t mean I have to listen to them.”
