The principal of the secondary school confirmed that the school is ready to resume classes tomorrow, Tuesday, to complete the study plan after the Eid holidays, and the course teaching will be completed in the next three weeks. In a statement to Al Arabiya, they said that the study plan is proceeding smoothly in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Education and there will be no problems or delays due to Ramadan or Eid holidays, emphasizing that students must abide by school regulations and attend classes with teachers in the classroom.
They confirmed that some absences were expected on the first day of classes and that text messages would be sent to parents urging their children to attend school every day for the remainder of term two.
They stressed that in addition to contacting parents of absent students, updating mobile phone text messages and the “Qatar Education” system, they are also committed to enforcing the attendance and absence policy to encourage children to go to school, and emphasized the need for absent students. Students can attend as long as there is no medical reason. They called on parents not to be lax with their children, especially as the exams will be held at the end of May next year, and children must be determined to improve their grades this semester. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education plans to announce the timetable for the second semester exams for all schools in the next two weeks.
Jassim Al-Mohannadi: The test will be conducted on April 24
Mr. Jassim Al-Muhannadi, the principal of Omar Bin Abdulaziz Boys Secondary School, said that the school, both academic and administrative staff, are fully prepared and will send the school timetable to parents today, stressing the importance of students attending classes on time from the very first day.
Al-Muhannadi added that the school will encourage students, especially those in Grade XII, from tomorrow (Tuesday) to persevere, put in more effort and work regularly to achieve the best results, especially as the final exams are approaching, stressing that interruptions or absences in studies are unacceptable starting from the second semester, especially since students had a good rest during the Eid holidays.
He noted that teachers will resume the curriculum assigned before Ramadan, stressing that the curriculum will be completed within three weeks to allow revision to begin adequately to avoid any gaps between students.
He explained that the school will conduct a trial examination for high school certificate students on April 24 to train and prepare for the final examination month.
Khaled Al-Qahtani: We have completed 80% of the courses… and are ready to step up the review
Mr. Khaled Al-Qahtani, the principal of Jassim Bin Hamad Boys High School, said that the school’s preparations for welcoming students back from the Eid al-Fitr holidays are going on as normal and teachers will resume classes before Ramadan to complete the remaining courses, especially for secondary school students.
Katani explained that teachers will start from tomorrow and complete the course in two to three weeks to strengthen the review of each subject separately in preparation for the final exams. He explained that the school’s academic staff has developed a plan to strengthen the review and enrichment lessons to ensure that all students’ grades improve.
He noted that he would be keen to motivate students when they return to school and urged parents to get involved by creating a family atmosphere that encourages children to pay attention in class, manage their time, plan and prepare for final exams. Set aside specific time for study and revision after school.

Mr Ahmed Al Mahmoud, the principal of Hassan Bin Tabet Secondary School, urged students to adhere to the rules when classes resume tomorrow (Tuesday) after the Eid al-Fitr holidays, stressing that there is no time for absences, especially as the final exam period approaches.
Al-Mahmoud stated that the school is fully prepared to complete the remaining school curriculum as planned by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, stressing that teachers will fully complete the curriculum within 3 weeks and then begin the final review.
He pointed out that the absenteeism of students during Ramadan was noticeable, especially with the Eid al-Fitr holiday approaching, adding that it was expected that all students would attend school but this did not happen.
He called on parents not to be lax with their children, especially as exams are approaching, and children must be determined to improve their grades this semester, which will account for 60% of the total score.

Ismail Shams: Emphasize the regularity of students… and diligence in the “last meter”
Mr Ismail Shams, the principal of Omar Bin Khattab Boys Secondary School, confirmed that the school is ready to resume learning and stressed the importance of students attending school.
Shams said the school had issued instructions and directions to students regarding the school timetable which were in line with the school’s plan to complete the remaining portion of the curriculum in two to three weeks, explaining that 85 per cent of most courses for all secondary grades had been completed.
He stressed that teachers have developed a plan to conduct a comprehensive review of all subjects and address any deficiencies. He called on students to be prepared for the exams, stressing constant revision and using previous exams in training and preparation to achieve this. He believed that those who were absent during Ramadan only had themselves to blame and that they must study hard and focus on revision to learn the lessons they need.
He stressed that parents need to educate their children on the importance of the remaining time in the second semester, which is similar to the “last meter” in a sports game, calling on students to work hard to continue good grades or better improve themselves by arranging time between study, review and learning.
