Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told Stephen Colbert on Thursday that Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz drives Donald Trump and J.D. Vance “crazy.”
“I think Trump and Vance, they think they have a monopoly on masculinity,” Ocasio-Cortez said. Late Night Show.
Republican candidates have been frantic since Walz first called them a “wacko” a few weeks ago, desperately attacking Minnesota governor son, wife, Military Historyand Record of Administration.

Colbert’s audience cheered approvingly.
Speaking Earlier this week Trump, who campaigned in Pennsylvania, was definitely not fazed by the attacks, assuring his followers that he is a normal guy. “This crazy guy is saying we are weirdos, saying JD and I are weirdos,” he said of Waltz. “I think we are very normal people – just like you!”
But Trump seemed particularly keen to deflect the insults toward himself, rather than Vance. according to The New York TimesWhen a Republican donor asked about the “weird” label at a fundraiser on August 2, Trump responded: “It wasn’t about me. They were talking about JD.”
