We are preparing for the presidential and national assembly elections on November 27, and emotions and excitement are running high for new leaders and new contenders.
I ask you, when all is said and done, after all your posters have been plastered on every lamp post, kiosk and notice board in every city, town, village and settlement to attract as many votes as possible, can you please clean up the mess with the same energy you put into the campaign?
As a fellow Namibian, I have seen countless times banners and leaflets still displayed months after the elections.
If you want to be a leader, you should lead by example.
Whatever the outcome, I believe you also have a responsibility to take care of our beautiful country and keep it the way it is.
Please keep our country clean.
