The information day, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, allowed all interested parties to find out the details and methods of applying for the open call for sports awards, recognitions and scholarships for 2024. Compared to last year, this year’s funding has increased by 30,000 and 140,000 km has been reserved for this purpose.
“It is worth noting that in the past year we have relaunched the work of the East River Schools Athletic Association. Last year we awarded 132 scholarships through this team and this year we expect even more. On this occasion, the authorities pointed out that the aim is to further bring the competition procedures closer to all users of the public account. Representatives of sports teams and athletes did not hide their satisfaction with the information day and the open invitation itself, because the scholarships meant a lot to them during their training and it is certainly a reward for the achievements.

The public call for 2024 sports awards, recognitions and scholarships is now open and will continue for the next 10 days. The difference this year compared to previous years is that there is no age limit for candidates this year. Athletes who train in clubs in the TK area and have a registered residence outside the state with their parents can also apply.
The first place winners in the state competitions of the Little Olympic Games cannot apply for an open invitation. The competent authorities will receive the list of first place winners from the school sports association TK and the state sports association that is the organizer of this sports event and award them a one-time scholarship of 250 km for elementary school students and 350 km for high school students, including their teachers and mentors.
