New Delhi: Under the Udyan Utsav-II programme, Amrit Udyan will be open to the public for a month (except Mondays) from August 16, 2023. On September 5, to celebrate Teachers’ Day, Amrit Udyan will be opened exclusively for teachers.
Udyan Utsav-II is aimed at showcasing the blooming of summer annuals to visitors.
Visitors can visit the gardens from 10:00 to 17:00 (last entry at 16:00). The entrance is at Gate 35 near Presidential Palace North Avenue. Visitors can obtain admission passes through online reservations or at the self-service kiosks.
Visitors can make online reservations through the Rashtrapatibhavan website (https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in/) from August 7, 2023. On-site visitors can obtain passes from the self-service kiosk located near Gate No. 35. Entry to Amrit Udyan is free.
The Amrit festival was held from January 29 to March 31 this year under the first phase of the festival (Udyan Utsav-I) and received more than 10 lakh visitors.
Apart from Amrit Udyan, tourists can also visit the Rashtrapatibhavan Museum by booking online (https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in/). During Udyan Utsav-II, government school students can visit the museum for free.
