Afghanistan’s national futsal team will face Guatemala on Monday.
The two futsal teams of Afghanistan and Guatemala will face off in an intercontinental tournament in Thailand tomorrow (Monday of the twelfth lunar month).
The match between the two teams will be held in Thailand at 2 pm tomorrow, Afghanistan time. The Continental Futsal Championship kicked off on the 11th in Sulawesi with the participation of five teams hosted by Thailand and will continue until Friday, the 16th in Sulawesi.
In the two matches played yesterday, host Thailand defeated Australia 8-0, while Guatemala defeated Kuwait 3-2.
Afghanistan will face Kuwait at 2pm on Tuesday, September 13. Afghanistan’s third match will be against Australia at 2pm on Wednesday, and Afghanistan will play Thailand at 2pm on Friday, Kabul time.
The purpose of the tournament is to prepare the teams for the Futsal World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Uzbekistan two weeks from September 14. Afghanistan is in Group C with Argentina, Ukraine and Angola.
