On August 24, a seminar entitled “Investigating 40 Years of War Crimes in Afghanistan” was held in the Netherlands. The seminar was organized by the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights and Civil Society under the supervision of the Afghanistan Freedom Front. Many speakers examined and analyzed the war crimes that have occurred in Afghanistan over the past 40 years.
After the lecture, the participants discussed and exchanged ideas on this issue in group activities.
Journalist Ahmed Takkar, who was present at the symposium, interviewed writer and poet Gleno Bachman, who was in charge of hosting the gathering.
In the interview, Mr. Barman explained how four decades of war crimes were investigated during the one-day seminar.
