Adrian Duval on three-day visit to India

The parliamentary delegation consisted of Speaker Adrien Duval, Urmeela Ramchurn, Clerk National Assembly Member and Head of Digital Services Saseeta Rakha-Ramsahye left Mauritius yesterday to visit the House of the People as part of a parliamentary practice mission.

The official visit will last for three days. Upon arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, the delegation will be welcomed by Shri Anjani Kumar, Joint Secretary and Director of Protocol, Parliament of India, accompanied by Shri LV Ramana, Deputy Director of Protocol, and other departmental officials of the Parliament of India, the Lok Sabha Secretariat.

During the visit, the delegation will stay at the hotel ITC Maurya, Located at Sardar Patel Marg in New Delhi. The programme of the visit includes several high-level meetings, including with Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, a banquet lunch in Parliament, and a visit to the palace to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. The delegation will also hold technical exchanges with Sansad TV officials and undertake cultural visits across the Indian capital.
