The School of Arts has announced the admission requirements for graduate students at each institution of the School of Arts for the 2024-2025 academic year.

First: Higher Academy of Dramatic Arts (Cairo Branch):

Bachelor’s degree holders from the three departments of the Higher Academy of Dramatic Arts will be admitted with at least good grades after passing a personal interview.

Second: The Higher Academy of Dramatic Arts (Alexandria Branch) accepts holders of a bachelor’s degree in Acting and Decoration at the Higher Academy of Dramatic Arts who have passed a personal interview and have a minimum of good grades.

Third: Higher School of Film (Cairo Branch) accepts holders of a bachelor’s degree from the Higher School of Film after passing a personal interview and obtaining at least good grades.

Fourth: Higher Film School (Alexandria Branch):

Students holding a bachelor’s degree from a higher film school are admitted after a personal interview and with at least good grades.

Fifth: Higher School of Folk Art (Cairo Branch)

The Faculty accepts students who have graduated from Egyptian universities with equivalent Arabic and foreign certificates with at least good grades, provided that, according to regulations, the diploma stage is a complete stage for those students who obtained acceptable grades in their first university degree.

6. Higher School of Folk Art (Alexandria Branch)

The Faculty accepts Egyptian university graduates as well as graduates of equivalent Arabic and foreign certificates with grades of at least good, provided that, according to regulations, the diploma stage is a complete stage for those who obtained acceptable grades in the first university degree.

7. Higher School of Art Criticism (Cairo Branch)

First: Diploma stage:

1- Art Criticism Department:

He must possess a BA or B.A. in the applied major from one of the Faculties, or an equivalent degree in the same major from one of the other Egyptian university institutions or colleges, with an overall grade of at least (good), the student joins the major according to his first field of study.

– There is no age requirement for applicants, as long as they submit proof of completion of military service (for male students).

• Literary Criticism: Bachelor’s degrees from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Languages ​​and Literature, Al-Alsun College, Department of Public Media, Department of Broadcasting and Journalism, and the Faculty of Special Education.

• Department of Art Criticism: holds Bachelor’s degrees in Fine Arts and Art Education in all its departments and in all departments of the Faculty of Applied Arts except the Department of Film and the Faculty of Special Education.

• Department of Film and Television Criticism: Students with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts from the Department of Photography are admitted to the Department of Film Criticism, and students with a Bachelor’s degree in Television from the Department of Communication (Broadcasting, Television) are admitted.

• Department of Music Criticism: Undergraduate students in the School of Music Education are admitted to the Department of Music Criticism, while those in the School of Special Education are admitted to the Department of Music.

• Department of Philosophy and Arts Sciences: Bachelor of Arts degree holders from the Department (Philosophy and Psychology).

2 – Art Appreciation Department:

• In order for a student to register for a postgraduate degree in Art Appreciation at the Higher School of Art Criticism, he must have a university degree in one of the BA or B.A. from one of the Egyptian universities or higher institutions, or its equivalent, regardless of the professional nature of the university degree, the general estimate of success being the completion of the diploma stage.
