Andre Worrell, acting SLP president, will be the new opposition senator when the upper house resumes next month.
Worrell arrived at State House this morning to be sworn in, accompanied by Opposition Leader Ralph Thorne and Senator Ryan Walters.
A former senator in the government of late Prime Minister David Thompson, he was appointed health spokesman at the weekend. Worrell replaces lawyer Tricia Watson, who served from February to August. (Saturday)
