The Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapies (FACT) announced yesterday that the Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Centre’s comprehensive cellular therapy programme has been awarded the prestigious, internationally recognised FACT accreditation.
The center becomes the first medical facility in the UAE to receive this accreditation.
Professor Yendry Ventura, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center and Visiting Professor at the United Arab Emirates University, said: “In addition to its excellence and leadership in the field of cell therapy worldwide, the Center is committed to providing healthcare services at an advanced and high level.”
Dr. Phyllis Warkentin, Chief Medical Officer of the Cellular Therapy Accreditation Foundation, said: “Our accreditation of the Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center reflects their commitment to providing the highest quality standards throughout their organization.”
