The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) has successfully assisted Brunei in securing the broadcasting rights for the UEFA Euro 2024 in Brunei. ABU and European football’s governing body UEFA reached a last-minute deal last weekend while overcoming budgetary constraints.
The ABU mediated by talking to the rights holders and lobbying for adjustments to the competition packages. Once again, the ABU successfully demonstrated its determination to help its members.
