His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Abdullah Diop, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Mali.
During their meeting in Abu Dhabi on Monday, they discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Mali and how to strengthen them in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries.
The two sides also reviewed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of development, economy and so on.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the visit of Abdullah Diop and his accompanying delegation and praised the outstanding relations between the two countries.
His Highness also wished the friendly Republic of Mali and its people stability, progress and prosperity.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Abdullah Diop discussed a number of issues of concern to both countries, as well as developments in the regional and international arenas and the evolving situation in the region.
The meeting was attended by Sayyed Mubarak Al-Hajri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
