ABC News unveils new look and signature theme
ABC News will launch a major redesign of its website and app with a sleek new interface and enhanced functionality on August 19, 2024. The update introduces new sections such as “Top Stories” and “Local News” and improved video and graphics integration.
The ABC TV News theme song, created by Peter Wall and Tony Ansell, will return and be performed live during News Breakfast. The refreshed on-air look includes updated graphics and a new logo, creating a more engaging viewing experience.
