According to the Dangjin Fire Department on the 11th, at around 1:15 pm, an old Grandeur car traveling on the Sucheong-dong road in Dangjin caught fire and was extinguished 13 minutes later.

The driver evacuated the vehicle on his own and no one was injured, but a fire broke out in the vehicle’s engine compartment, causing property damage worth 6 million won.
Police and fire departments believe the fire started in the vehicle’s engine compartment and are investigating the specific cause of the fire.
Earlier, at 8:38 a.m. that day, an accident occurred on the national highway near Xinping in Tangjin City, where a 25-ton tanker truck hit the isolation belt and overturned.
The accident caused no casualties, but the area was congested for about three hours as feed loaded on the tanker spilled onto the road.
Police are investigating the details of the accident.
